Prize money is awarded to all teams that reach the quarterfinals and beyond. Group stage exits and early bracket losses receive cosmetic rewards only (see Cosmetics).

Total cash prizes: $20,000 + $10,000 + $5,000 + $3,000 + (4×$1,500) + (8×$500) = $44,000. Remaining $3,500 is held for MVP bonuses and community voted awards announced at Grand Finals.

How the Prize Pool is Funded
MATCHPOINT is free to enter. The $47,500 prize pool is entirely community- and sponsor-funded. No entry fee, no pay-to-win advantage. Here's where the money comes from:
Cosmetics & Exclusive Rewards
Every player who competes earns cosmetics. Higher placements unlock rarer, exclusive rewards that cannot be obtained in any future season. These are displayed on your app profile and in-server player tag.
Cosmetics are distributed to your app account automatically within 48 hours of Grand Finals concluding. They appear in the Profile → Cosmetics tab and can be equipped for display in the in-server lobby.
Payout Process
Cash prizes are paid out via bank transfer or PayPal within 14 days of Grand Finals. Here's what to expect:
- After Grand Finals, the admin team contacts prize-eligible teams (top 16) via their registered email.
- Each team's captain submits payout details — payment method, bank info or PayPal email, and team split instructions if using a custom split.
- Individual player KYC (identity verification) is required for payments above $1,000 per person. This complies with local tax reporting requirements.
- Payments are processed in USD. International recipients may see currency conversion fees depending on their bank.
- If a team does not submit payout details within 30 days of being contacted, their prize share is forfeited and rolls into the next season's community fund.
